Hong Kong Stopover, by Margaret Pearce
Josie Sutherland is a computer journalist and her quiet stopover in Hong Kong is thrown into chaos when she witnesses a failed robbery. She suspects the victim, Carey Court, is involved in software smuggling when they are both kidnapped.
The instant attraction between them complicates everything. The police suspect the pair of being the couriers involved in a smuggling racket with industrial espionage using software. Can Josie prove they're wrong?
Margaret Pearce started off her writing life as a copywriter in an advertising agency. She took up writing instead of drink when raising children. Did an Arts Degree at Monash University as a mature age student. She is a compulsive writer and reader with a weakness for fantasy and science fiction novels. She writes mainly children’s and teenage novels, and currently lurks in an underground flat still writing.
